Western Union

Western Union is a worldwide payment solution with funds transferred globally in just a matter of minutes. In many casinos you can use this money transfer option to fund your casino account. Each casino will have it's own guidelines, but in general, you will send the money to a pick up person or company name, including the expected payout location and the amount. Once the funds have been sent, you will need to contact the casino with your MTCP info, which is a series of numbers that act as a tracking code for your transaction, the amount, your name and username and whatever personal information needed to verify your identity to the casino. This method of funding your casino account is a little more costly than most funding options or more, $12 - $15, per transaction in most cases, but the casinos will usually offset this cost by adding a bonus to your account that usually comes close to covering your cost.

With Western Union, there are no limits to how much you can send, or how many transactions per day that you can process. If you are in the US, and have a VISA, MasterCard or Discover card that is issued in the United States, you can also send money through the Western Union website. Once approved, the money will be available for pick up within minutes. If you have a U.S. checking account that you want to use to send funds, you can easily use this, but this option may take up to 5 business days to process. To send money through Western Union online, you'll need to create your online account by filling out a short form on their website. Once your account has been created and approves, and you are ready to send funds simply login to your account, select the method of transfer you wish to use, and fill out a form requiring the receiver's first and last name, the amount and expected payout location which includes the city, state/providence/territory and the country. The transfer will be completed in just a few minutes.

Western Union now has a new PrePaid MasterCard that can be funded at nearly 45,000 agent locations in the U.S. and must be made in cash. You can then use the card anywhere that accepts MasterCard. As with any prepaid credit card, be sure to keep your card number, CVV number and any other personal information in a secure location. If lost, you will need to contact Western Union to notify them and to have a new card sent to you.
