UK is currently undergoing law making plans for a
super casino and more. The competition for the
casino deal (only one casino will get the rights to
develop a super casino) has been fierce. Now,
it is
being reported by the BBC that the well-known Manchester
United football club has called off proposals to build a
casino in the UK.
Back in May of this year, Manchester
United joined force with US-based
gaming giant Las Vegas Sands Corp to start developing
plans to reinvent a casino site next to Old Trafford.
Now that
Blackpool is now being considered a front-runner to get
the approval UK's only super casino franchise,
Manchester United felt that it might take way too long
before permission was granted for the development. While
no official verdict has been announced by the UK
governing officials in the matter, many are speculating
that perhaps the competition is getting heated.
